was charged with independently assessing the Portland Police Bureau's compliance with the U.S. Department of Justice Settlement Agreement until July 2024. Compliance assessments are now conducted by court appointed independent monitor MPS & Associates, LLC (https://portlandpolicemonitor.com/).
The Portland Compliance Officer/Community Liaison (COCL) publishes regular compliance reports, and hosts town halls to hear public input on those reports. Learn more.
